Your inputs. Your chosen workspace.
Camicus’s engine runs locally. The assistant using it has its own data handling and permissions.
What the engine reads
Weekly brief: the project.json and tasks.json snapshots you select. Results include project context, counts, recorded blockers, source hashes and checks.
Mac audit: six fixed read-only command outputs for FileVault, SIP, Gatekeeper, the application firewall, stealth mode and visible TCP listeners. Results can contain local process names, PIDs, file descriptors and endpoint details, plus the captured command output.
What leaves the engine
The Python engine makes no runtime network requests and has no telemetry or upload endpoint. It writes a new result inside the authorized workspace, with private file permissions. It does not collect credentials or read arbitrary environment variables.
This is a local execution boundary, not an absolute privacy guarantee. Your authorized Codex or Claude Code session can read selected inputs and results; its provider, session settings and tools govern further data handling. Folder sync, backups and other same-user applications remain outside Camicus’s control.
This website and downloads
This site has no product analytics, account signup, upload form or client-side device audit. The examples are fictional saved weekly-brief results. Hosting infrastructure receives normal web requests and may log connection metadata; Camicus does not promise an unlogged visit. GitHub links use GitHub’s service and policies.
Sharing and retention
Inspect any result before sharing it. Use fictional reproductions for public bug reports; omit real project snapshots, private results, credentials, local endpoints and personal information. Choose a workspace whose sync and backup behavior you understand. You control result retention.
Optional semantic review
Jev is a proposed, separately authorized review handoff—not an integrated collector or automatic upload destination. Camicus works without it. Selected claims and supplied evidence could be reviewed only after you decide the input scope and authorize that separate service.
